Roast chicken with Teriyaki sauce

Marinate the chicken for more than 6 hours with:
1) Garlic
2) Ginger
3) Teriyaki sauce
4) Dash of black pepper



Roast in oven 200 C for 45 minutes....and that's it. When almost done, about 5 minutes to go, brush some honey on the skin......

burger and mushroom soup

Wake up and the kids request to eat burger. looking thru the fridge and found the Frozen Fish Fillet (sandwich). and mushroom for the soup.

Mushroom soup. Thanks to Bits of taste i found an easy to make mushroom soup.

1 celery
1 yellow onion
Fresh brown mushroom
Cut to small pieces and saute in 3 tbsp of butter, 5 minutes
then stir in 3 tbsp of flour
then add in 400 ml of chicken broth.
boil for 20 minutes, add in 250 ml of milk, stir for another 10 minutes.
blend it once its cool a little.
add salt and black pepper to you taste
and serve warm.

as for the burger, I spread with butter on the bun and heat it in the pan until golden brown


Deep fried the Fish sandwich. I used Pacific West


Deep fried the french fries


Sunny side up or poached egg


Generous amout of mayonnaise


In between put some slice cucumber and cheddar cheese



and Voila, there you go.......




serve with the mushroom soup. healthy, nutritious and the kids love it!!

Baked Fish - with mushroom and egg

Wanted to cook something easy and nutritious for the kids, look in the fridge and this is what i found.

Dory fillet- marinated with a little bit of salt and pan friend slightly. Then sprinkle some black pepper




This one:


Saute the fresh mushroom, add bit of pepper and light soya sauce.


Sramble 2 eggs and then add mushroom to it and pour it over the fish


Like this: add a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on
Before bake:


After: bake at 180 c for 20 minutes or until the cheese are lightly brown


Taste good and healthy too. Kids love it

Steamed Moist Chcolate Cake







Looking for a moist chocolate cake and I found one that attract me.Adapted and changed slightly from here. Thanks for posting such a nice and easy recipe. My kids love it so much.


190 g butter
180g castor sugar
200ml fresh milk
2 eggs
200 g plain flour
50g cup good quality cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

1. Heat up your steamer or wok before making the cake

2. Line and grease a 9-inch pan

3.
(A) combine sugar, milk and butter in a double boiler. stir over the low heat until sugar dissolved and butter is melted. turn off and leave it to completely cool.

(B) In the meantime, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and powder into a large mixing bowl

4. Wait for (A) to cool. then add in the eggs and mix thoroughly.

5.Finally pour (A) mixture into the flour and stir till well combined

6. Pour the batter into prepared pan and steam it for 40 minutes . Cover the top of the pan loosely with a sheet of aluminium foil

For the topping:
1/2 can condensed milk
4 tbsp of vegetable oil
20g cocoa powder (sifted)

combine all the above and stir it over the low heat till the mixture thicken. once cool pour it over the cake and decorate it.....

Lazy Sunday Dinner, Macaroni Soup

Macaroni Soup



Just came back from Genting this afternoon and so tired. So i just make a easy and yet satisfying dinner for the kids. and they love it. Asking me to cook for tomorrow again.....By the way, is whatever remaining in my fridge.....

Chicken meat or any other meat
carrot
celery
Of course Macaroni (wash)
Potato (I ran out of it-so didnt put)
but i got cabbage, so i put cabbage
Salt and Pepper for taste
Finely chop garlic

Cut the chicken to diced
Stir fry the garlic and the chicken for a while
add in water and chicken bone
add in a bit of black pepper
boil it for 10 minutes.
Cut the carrot, celery, potato, cabbage or what ever you want to put in
*Put a tomato will taste good too
then put in the macaroni and boil it accordingly to the time.
Salt to taste
Serve hot

super easy.........

DAORAE at Kota Damansara

Try another Korean Restaurant.... Located at Kota Damansara, they served nice korean food.


Today we choose to do the bbq..... as usual korean food come with lots of side dishes.
They serve a seaweed soup once we order....





The below taste like potato.... sweet potato...not my favourite


The chili that come with the bbq meat.




Look like salami... the right dishes... brown color, is pickle ginger....nice


order a soup. spicy soup with lean beef, see the smoke coming out from it....hot n spicy


bbq pork, marinated with special soya sauce...very nice and tasty
